Arab Wooden and Brass Studded Coffee Cocktail Table Trunk Chest Zanzibar

Description

Lovely rare Zanzibar trunk, 19th century. Brass studded decorations all-over. Three bottom drawers and top opens for storage as well. These were used in Kenya and Zanzibar to store valuables and spices in the 18th and 19th century. Today this makes a great coffee table or chest at the end of the bed.
