The most special, rare pair of club lounge chairs By Danny Ho Fong for Tropical-Cal, 1970s. This is the beloved, rare Tanganika collection. This is the only example of these chairs currently for sale. Please see original photos emailed to me from The Fong family of their lovely collection. The sofa is also available, listed separately. These chairs have been completely, professionally restored to perfection! The original layers of paint over the years was hand stripped off, layer by layer. These were then hand stained and clear coat lacquered. There is no damage on any of the rattan. We then had all new custom cushions made to bring these back to how they were originally intended. We had our expert upholster match to the photos. All new foam and insides. We started fresh. We had them done in a beautiful soft white, oatmeal boucle.
